About form & eisen
Form & Eisen (form & eisen) is a designer focused on modern minimalist furniture objects - founded by Simon Weißbacher.
My studio is dedicated to create high quality furniture pieces with substance, designed with care and rooted in material clarity. The first collection includes modular sideboards, sculptural wall shelves, stools and planters - minimalist, collectible design with maximum impact.
The pieces are primarily crafted In metal and will be combined with selected materials in the near future, allowing for refined contrasts and layered material expressions. The objects are versatile in use: individually, as a set, or combined into architectural spatial solutions.
Inspired by industrial function and artistic reduction.
The origins reach further back, deeply rooted in the artisanal tradition of Simon Weißbacher, who is formally trained in a craft profession.
Growing up within a family shaped by craftsmanship, his early connection to material, process, and precision formed the foundation of his design approach. Long before form & eisen existed as a brand, the principles of making, patience and respect for material were already present.
