Welcome to form & eisen - My name is Simon Weißbacher, and I would like to share with you my journey through the fascinating world of metal design in the interior sector.
The roots of my passion go way back, to the days when my father and I worked together in our small workshop.
But fate had other plans, and when my father left us, I found metalworking solace and a way to keep our shared passion alive.
It was during this process that I discovered a new passion - designing metal in interiors.
Small details, delicate shapes and the possibility of merging function and aesthetics fascinated me deeply. In 2021 I took the plunge into self-employment and founded form & eisen (fe). The name reflects not only the material, but also the shapes we create to put iron at the center of interior design.
What started as a one-man company has developed into a dedicated team of two, sometimes even three, creative minds. Our focus is on using metal in all its facets to create spaces with character and elegance.
Each of our products tells a story of craftsmanship, attention to detail and the desire to celebrate the uniqueness of metal in interiors.
